Steve Weston, Artistic Director

Steve Weston, a native of Bangor, graduated from the University of Maine, Orono, in 1992 with a Bachelor of Education in Music. After moving to Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1993, he began graduate study in composition at New Mexico State University where he completed his Master of Music in Choral Conducting under Dr. Jerry Alt. During his time in New Mexico and Las Vegas, Nevada, he was a member of three different professional choirs, traveling and performing extensively throughout the United States and Europe. In 1997 he began his career as an educator in both public schools and churches, serving and fostering the musical needs of singers from ages eight to 80.
Currently residing in Belfast, Steve is the Music Director at the First Congregational Church, Camden, and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maine, Orono, teaching orchestration.
Amy Maier, Accompanist

Amy Maier, a native of Bath, Maine, holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Maine at Orono, a Post Graduate Certificate in Piano Performance from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland, and a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Maine at Farmington where she teaches class piano and private lessons. She has been the long time accompanist for the Maine Summer Youth Music Camp and has accompanied for many music festivals both in Maine and New Hampshire and is looking forward to accompanying for the All State Chorus for the third year in a row. She is a member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and is President-Elect of the State affiliate, Maine Music Teachers Association (MMTA).
She currently resides in Bangor where she runs a piano studio, accompanies the Bangor Area Children’s Choir and the Husson Choir Club and serves as music director for Hampden Congregational Church.
