Petierunt uti sibi concilium totius Galliae in diem certam indicere. Nec dubitamus multa iter quae et nos invenerat. Integer legentibus erat a ante historiarum dapibus. Nihil hic munitissimus habendi senatus locus, nihil horum?.
Zachary James Fisher has spent the greater half of his young life pursuing excellence in music. A student at the University of Maine, he is in a double degree program finishing both his B.M. in Music Education as well as his B.M. in Music Performance. Mr. Fisher is Assistant Conductor and Tour Coordinator for the University Singers, managing their annual recruitment tour.
For his age, Mr. Fisher has worked with many esteemed names in the world of choral music such as Dr. Rollo Dilworth and Dr. Z Randall Stroope. He most recently performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City under the direction of conductor emeritus Dr. Dennis Cox. In the summer of 2016, he toured through Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and England with the University Singers performing in many historical, architectural landmarks such as Ely Cathedral. Here in Maine, Mr. Fisher is both a member of the Blue Hill Bach Festival, bringing the highest quality of Baroque era music to the downeast area, as well as a member of the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Maine.
Upon graduating from his undergraduate studies, Mr. Fisher plans to pursue graduate degrees in choral conducting, and one day conduct choirs at the collegiate level.
